Innovation Bank originally developed in 2006, operates on the principle that no product, service, process, digital platform, business model or invention ever comes to market without the core expertise of several parties. Thereby all innovation is collaborative, whether it is is incremental, evolutionary, revolutionary or disruptive.
The core expertise is provided by each branch of the innovation process – academia; design; technology; sciences; research; market mapping; IP strategy; finance; retail; brand; digital, manufacturing and route to market industry partnersTo open your Innovation Bank account simply sign-up, set-up your individual or company profile selecting disciplines and sector expertise. This process takes just a few minutes. Once your account is approved, your individual or company details become live & searchable in the public-side Innovation Directory and access to place & view innovation concepts in the bank is granted.
Through your admin area account holders can upload press releases directly into the news room. Your personal profile section enables you to add personal expertise and upload your own articles and academic papers, and integrate your social media platforms into your account.
Within the Bank itself (non-public) all account holders can place and view innovation concepts, to a template format (see Proposition Pitch template), evaluate any concept against your company strategic fit and if applicable & desired protect concepts by adding your Creative Barcode QR code.
You can contact concept owners by expressing an interest and directly offer expertise against any area they state such expertise is required. And you can place an exclusivity bond on any innovation concept you wish to be taken offline whilst you negotiate a deal within a 90 day period. You can send and receive specific innovation requests to one or more account holder groups, such as technologists, designers, academics etc.
